We had a great time working with Wayne Williams who is the host of  Dish TV's "Speaking of Horses" .  He is full of stories .Wayne  is a great mentor for the next generation.

Wayne arrived not sure what he was getting involved with. Our common interest in naturally kept horses brought us together.  He patiently listened and watched.
Wayne remarked that the Balanced Horse Project allows the natural horse to thrive.  He appreciated the relaxed environment and the quiet willing state of horses who have documented histories of sever resistance to human involvement.

Ol,i a new horse, has  one of those histories. We used him to demonstrate the first step in the Balanced Horse Effect. Oli was a great horse to tape because he was very honest with his reactions. His body illustrated the gross physical challenges that allows the viewer to connect to the conversation.

after watch the show people will start looking at horses in a new way. They will see things that have NEVER been discussed by vets, or books.

Harley was our second horse. We  showed before and after photos of changes in his conformation. Harley was  3 leg for many years. With recent refinements of the technique Harley is sound and in work. He is just returning to work, at the time of this taping.

Wayne has worked with horse celebrities such as, Chris COX and knew Linda and Pat  before the Savvy tour  got popular.
I was very honored to be involved with his program and wish him well in the seasons to come.

The Barn

Picture
It was not quite what I was looking for. However I'm glad that we have this open air stabling. It is has a cool summer breeze.
Coming from a show background , I was looking for a posh level structure. Instead  this barn is simple, the horses love it and there is drainage channels that are useful for washing out the stalls.
